Combining professional tuition with a vibrant dance scene, SALSATRICITY was established to concentrate on the ergonomics of movement and foot work in a partner dance, to a range of different music, from salsa to Sinatra, through reggae to RNB……………and back again

Calmheather partnership was dissolved when my partner made an exclusive deal on the old venue and took over the business!!....

I have been taught by some of the best in the business...Nelson Batista who is the Godfather of salsa..bringing it to the UK in the 1980's....Marchant Birch...Super Mario...etc....before I went into a partnership, and was already helping with advanced classes at an established local Salsa venue...

I am university trained teacher with BSc Hons...PGCE GDL....and have been teaching Science and Geography in some of the top schools in the country..North London Collegiate..Mill Hill... Dame Alice Owens ...Barnet College .... Queen Annes...King Alfred School..and, with my daughter who has studied ballet for 16 years and gained distinction up to grade 8 RADA......and other well qualified teacher we run professional dance classes....

The way to dance salsa varies across the world so we combine this beautiful sensuous dance with fun moves you can take and adapt on the dance floor…………….much better than a session at the gym………………

We run fun but serious about salsa' dance class, mainly cuban style but also teach the American cross body footwork.

CLASSES and free style dancing.....8.30-1am

just 2 mins from Hight Barnet tube...and on the ALL NIGHT bus route into town....

AND WE SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC~ just £2 extra for the night

Here is my review. Start

"At London Salsa we like to keep up with all things Salsa happening in London so we went along to Salsatricity on Saturday night in Barnet. Heather and her team teach Cuban style concentrating on footwork and understanding rather than routines. Being a trained school teacher she understands learning and has more men than women at the class (is that a first for a Salsa class?), and judging by the amount of good men dancers, she seems to be doing a great job. On this night she also ran a Bachata class. The club was buzzing. Around 120+ attended but there was still enough room for the dancers to stretch themselves. The music was first class, being provided by DJ Julian 'The Duke', and the age range was an even mix from 20s right up to 60s. It was a great night with a very friendly atmosphere and some great dancing. You should check it out, we'll be going again. LS"
